Decreased expression of miR23b is associated with poor survival of endometrial cancer patients

The dataset presents data from the article entitled "Decreased expression of miR-23b is associated with poor survival of endometrial cancer patients" published in Scientific Reports journal. This study aimed to assess the level of expression of a panel of 16 miRNAs in both types of EC and healthy endometrium (HE). The dataset presents calculations of microRNA expression levels from tumor tissues or healthy endometrial tissues dissected from archival formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) using laser capture microdissection (LCM), analysis of TCGA Uterine Corpus Endometrial Carcinoma (EC) cohort using OncomiR database, analysis of the survival of EC patients based on the miR-23b, miR-125b-5p, miR-199a-3p, miR-221-3p, miR-451a expression in TCGA cohort (n=533) data using OncoLnc2, and the relative proliferation of mimic miR-23band anti miR-23b-transfected Ishikawa cells.
