CHICO (Cultural Heritage Images and Catalog Objects) is a fixed research sample from Europeana: 60,397 open-licence, vision-usable catalog records, with references to 83,852 decodable images. This deposit (version 0.1.0) releases the core metadata package:• 60,397 open-licence records with references to 83,852 decodable images• Sanitized registry (CHO Core fields, English copy where available, image roles; host paths removed)• Component-safe train / validation / sealed-test split• Image URL and SHA-256 manifests so users can re-download open media Raster image bytes are not included.
