International Health Policy Survey (IHP) of the Commonwealth Fund Foundation

Every year, Switzerland participates in the Commonwealth Fund's International Health Policy (IHP) Survey alongside ten other countries. This provides Switzerland with internationally comparable data on health policy issues that can be used to develop Switzerland's healthcare system. The following target groups are surveyed in a three-year cycle:
- Primary care physicians
- Population aged 18 and over
- Population aged 65 and over
In the IHP surveys, respondents can give their opinions on various aspects of their country's healthcare system (e.g. quality of medical care, eHealth services, coordination between service providers). They assess how healthcare works based on their experiences. In addition to Switzerland, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States participate in the IHP surveys.
