资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of both oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle and oceanic ammonium made by Xose Salgado Alvarez and Malcolm Woodward during the RRS Charles Darwin 114A research cruise on the Iberian Slope in the North-East Atlantic, as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 27th July 1998 and ended on 11th August 1998 with a spatial coverage of +42N and +43N latitude and +9W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-116 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column, computed from pH and alkalinity;
-116 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase), computed from pH and alkalinity;
-145 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate 0.4um phase) by filtration and colorimetric autoanalysis; and
-98 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
