资源简介:
With this dataset, we provide multi-unit neural activity data and eye-movement data from two macaque monkeys. The data were recorded from chronically implanted electrode arrays in the primary visual cortex. The animals were performing a shape discrimination task in which they were presented with textures containing either an ‘n’ or ‘u’ shape. The multi-unit data is presented as mean time-courses per condition as well as time-windowed data from individual trials. The different conditions were determined by the position of the n/u shape on the screen. The data comes from four different task phases: 1) data collected from naïve animals that had not learnt the shape discrimination task and were passively viewing the stimuli 2) data collected after training the animals on the shape discrimination task while the animals were performing the task 3) post-training data while the animals were passively fixating 4) post-training data when the animals were performing an attentional control task. The data show that V1 activity is modulated on perceptual objects and that learning and attention suppress the background.
