Saratoga County Trails

The Saratoga County Trails dataset represents existing trail polylines within the general vicinity of Saratoga County, New York. The dataset was originally compiled and published in 2011, and was recently updated during 2016-2017. It is an amalgamation of many different data sources, with contributions from New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, &amp; Historic Preservation, Saratoga County and municipalities, Skidmore College, The Nature Conservancy, Wilton Wildlife Preserve that were collected and managed by Saratoga PLAN. The dataset is meant as a public resource for trail information in Saratoga County, NY and to aid with recreation planning and maintenance. The dataset is a snapshot of existing trails, and therefor requires ongoing updates to reflect constant changes in trail systems and recreation amenities.
