I.Foll.2-14. A Persian mathematical treatise.
Dated Rabî’ I., 1041. Scribe, Muḥammad Amîn b. Mîrzâ Muḥammad Faḍl Allah Kâshânî.
Fol. 1 contains a note in Arabic, on multiplication (ضرب التوشيح) .
Then follows, written in the same hand, ---
II.Foll. 15-122. A treatise on Arithmetic , entitled مفتاح الحساب , by GHIYÂTH AL-DÎN JAMSHÎD b. Mas’ûd b. Maḥmûd KÂSHÂNÎ, who dedicated his work to Ulugh Beg. See Ḥ. Kh. vi. 12; Cat. Mus. Brit. 199 ; Cat. St. Petersb. 118; Cat. Lugd. iii. 75; Bibl. Sprenger. 1824. Cf. the preceding no.
Begins: و بتوفيقك نعتصم 2 يا كريم ‘ الحمد لله الذى توحد الخ.
