Opinion on adding GST on fuel price in India 2021

According to a survey conducted in September 2021, about 77 percent of Indian respondents want the government to move petrol and diesel under the goods and service tax (GST). The Indian government in May 2020 increased excise duty on petrol by ten Indian rupees per liter and diesel by 13 Indian rupees per liter to tackle the economic fallout of COVID-19.
