This is the dataset in the book: Albright, S. C., Winston, W. L., Zappe, C. J., & Broadie, M. N. (2011). <i>Data analysis and decision making</i> (Vol. 577). South-Western/Cengage Learning.<br>The data was collected because the Fifth National Bank of Springfield is facing a gender discrimination suit. The data are based on a real case from the year 1995 except for the bank's name being changed. The problem being considered here is whether the data provide evidence that females will face discrimination in terms of salary.
