Algorithm Rules: This data adopts the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model, assigning corresponding coefficients to eight value dimensions including patent validity period, number of inventors, patent agency status, number of citations received, number of citations made, number of patent families, number of claims, and number of litigation cases. The sum of the scores of these eight dimensions is defined as the comprehensive patent value, and the IFS function is used to determine the patent value, aiming to evaluate the value of existing patents and provide technical support for technicians in this field, market entities, and achievement transformation institutions. The specific rules are as follows: 1. Patent validity period score: The score is calculated as the number of years from the data download date (November 22, 2023, today) to the estimated expiration date. If the estimated expiration date is prior to the download date, the original calculation formula is still applied. Although this score may be negative, patents still hold value after their expiration, with 1 point awarded per year. 2. Number of inventors score: The score equals the number of inventors, with 1 point per inventor. 3. Patent agency status score: 5 points if a patent agency is involved, 0 points otherwise. 4. Number of citations received score: +10 points for each citation received by the patent. 5. Number of citations made score: +2 points for each citation made by the patent. 6. Number of patent families score: +1 point for each additional patent family beyond the baseline of 1 family. 7. Number of claims score: Taking 10 claims as the baseline, -1 point for each fewer claim and +1 point for each additional claim. 8. Number of litigation cases score: +50 points for each involved litigation case. Finally, the final calculated score is rounded to an integer.
