The dataset referenced in the cited article is provided in compressed .zip archives. These archives contain experimental data in .txt format (or .jpg format for TEM images), obtained using the following instrumentation: a JASCO V-670 spectrophotometer, an FS5 Edinburgh Instruments spectrofluorometer, a TALOS F200i (ThermoFisher Scientific) transmission electron microscope operating with a 200 kV electron source, a Bruker Autoflex Speed mass spectrometer in linear positive mode (LP) with a nitrogen laser, and a Bruker Optic GmbH Vertex 70v FT-IR Raman spectrometer.The dataset enables detailed characterization of the optical properties of Au25 nanoclusters capped with 2-mercaptomethyl-12-crown 4 ether (i.e. Au25(12CE4CH2SH)18), particularly their behavior in polar protic and apolar aprotic solvents. In addition, the data support the calculation of fluorescence decay lifetimes (and their percentage components), photoluminescence quantum yield, and cluster mean diameter.This archive contains a Read_me.txt file, which provides a structured description of the repository contents, their organization, and their relevance to the original research.
