National Park Zoning

It contains the polygons of the zoning of national parks, defined in the Master Plan of the Network of National Parks (Royal Decree 389/2016, of 22 October) as the organisation of the space according to the value and fragility of its resources and its reception capacity for the different uses, in order to minimise negative impacts and to ensure the use of the space compatible with the conservation of their natural systems. Following the criteria established in the Network Master Plan, zoning is established in the master plans for the use and management of national parks. The different areas are: reserve area, restricted use zone, zone of moderate use, zone of special use and zone of traditional settlements.
