Fungal metabarcording in 65 deadwood (logs) samples obtained from subalpine coniferous forest in Kitayatsugatake region in Japan. Logs were the remnants of forest disturbance due to a large typhoon in 1959 (Category 5, known as Isewan Typhoon or Vera). We took samples from both forests where fallen logs were left and where logs were harvested as salvage logging activities.
