The present invention relates to the manufacture of a compound material moulded from a mixture of cassava starch and natural fibres which can be used as a receptacle or container in the low-moisture prepared food industry， such as， inter alia， nuts， bakery and pastry products and seeds， as in the case of pots and vases， among other types of gardening and nursery industry products， under constant manual or mechanical stirring.
