Single-cell sequencing of the PBMC of dialysis patients

By using 10X Genomics technology, single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNAseq) of the PBMCs from two dialysis patients with high and low risk of development of early acute rejection (EAR) post transplant to identify immune cell subpopulations and their transcriptomic signatures associated with the risk of EAR. Analysis of the transcriptomic profiles of a total number of 11,966 cells determined NK and T cell subsets association with the EAR risk, especially decreased CD56Dim and increased CD4 CTL populations in high risk patients. Single-cell profiling of PBMC identified immune cell modulation associated with the risk of early acute rejection.
