资源简介:

Research data and reproducibility package This repository provides the research data, study-level risk-of-bias assessments, statistical analysis scripts, and supporting computational outputs associated with the systematic review and meta-analysis entitled "Fiber–Matrix Adhesion in Natural Fiber Composites: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Linking Surface Treatment to Design Values" by Sergiu Lazăr and Dan Dobrotă. The review investigates the effects of surface and interfacial treatments on the adhesion and mechanical performance of plant fiber-reinforced polymer composites. The systematic searches of Web of Science and Scopus, conducted in October 2026, identified 9,830 bibliographic records. The quantitative synthesis includes 1,287 experimental studies and 10,952 treated-versus-untreated effect sizes. The analyses address interfacial shear strength (IFSS), interlaminar shear strength (ILSS), composite tensile and flexural properties, impact strength, and additional mechanical performance indicators. The dataset supports multilevel random-effects meta-analysis, moderator analyses, sensitivity assessments, risk-of-bias evaluation, Bayesian modeling, and the estimation of treatment-related improvement factors. The repository contains structured effect-size data, risk-of-bias assessments, statistical analysis code, bibliometric resources, and documentation intended to facilitate transparency, independent verification, and reuse. Main findings of the associated study Interfacial shear strength increased by 46.9% (95% CI: 39.9–54.3%). Interlaminar shear strength increased by 36.3% (95% CI: 29.8–43.2%). Composite tensile strength increased by 24.3%. Composite flexural strength increased by 22.5%. The prediction intervals included potential losses, indicating substantial variability between material systems. The reported improvement factors are intended to support preliminary material selection and research comparisons. They should not be interpreted as validated mechanical design allowables for specific composite systems. Version: 4.8 Institution: Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Faculty of Engineering, Romania.
