Molecular signals associated with intraperitoneal chemotherapy resistance in gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis

Whole exome and transcriptome sequencing were performed on 12 tumors from patients treated with nivolumab as first-line therapy for metastatic gastric cancer (mGC). To validate the findings, additional whole transcriptome sequencing (WTS) was conducted on 17 tumors from patients who received immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy as second- or third-line treatment for mGC. Furthermore, spatial transcriptome sequencing was carried out on two independent diffuse GC cases, and public databases were utilized for comparison.
