A nuclear phylogenomic study of the Eperua s.l. clade (Leguminosae, Detarioideae) provides new insights into plant diversification in Amazonia

This study is a phylogenetic study of Eperua (Fabaceae) including all known species and using a target capture approach with taxon specific baits. Phylogenetic relationships were inferred using multiple methods, highlighting the role that hybridization/introgression has played in the history of the genus. We also investigated the biogeographic history of the group and ancestral state reconstruction of floral features.
