Analysis of the role of Dectin-1 in the development of intestinal tumorigenesis [RNA-Seq]

To investigate the potential role of Dectin-1 in the development of intestinal tumorigenesis, we used Dectin-1 deficient (Clec7a–/–, KO) mice under germ-free (GF) condition and azoxymethane (AOM) and 3 cycles of dextran-sodium-sulfate (DSS)-induced mouse colorectal tumor model to compare with wild-type (WT) mice. WT and KO mice under germ-free condition were admnistrated with AOM (10mg/g) and 3 cycles of 1% DSS for 36 weeks. Colorectal polyps and non-polyp tissues were collected after the dissection. Transcriptional profiles of total two samples of polyps and two of non-polyp that pooled from 5 WT and 5 KO mice respectively were analyzed by RNA-seq.
