GHS-COUNTRY-STATS R2024A - GHSL Country Statistics by Degree of Urbanization, multitemporal (1975-2030)

This dataset contains the country level statistics based on the latest GHSL data produced at the European Commission Directorate General Joint Research Centre in the Directorate for Space, Security and Migration in the Disaster Risk Management Unit (E.1). Area, built-up surface (GHS-BUILT-S_GLOBE_R2023A), residential population (GHS-POP_GLOBE_R2023A) and built-up surface per capita estimates between 1975 and 2020 in 5 years intervals and projections to 2025 and 2030 are disaggregated according to the stage I of the Degree of Urbanisation level 1 (grid DEGURBA, GHS-SMOD_GLOBE_R2023A version 2) and summarised by country. Countries are delineated by the Global ADMinistrative layer version 4.1 (GADM41).
