This dataset records the following entries from the bureau-level statistics table of various land areas in the statistical data of Baishishan Forestry Bureau: forest classification, ownership, total area, total forestry land, subtotal of stocked forest land, timber forest, protective forest, special-purpose forest, fuelwood and charcoal forest, economic forest, open forest land, shrub land, afforested land with young non-stocked trees, nursery land, subtotal of non-stocked forest land, barren hills and wasteland suitable for afforestation, logging slash land, burned area, shrub land, marsh land, forestry facility land, other forestry land, non-forestry land, and coverage rate (%). Forest distribution maps are critical data for forestry scientific research and forest resource management, which contain information such as the spatial distribution and area of different forest types, administrative divisions and their division codes. Forest distribution maps cover national, provincial, county-level and forest farm levels. At present, most forest distribution maps are developed based on data from the second-class forest inventory or the first-class national forest inventory, and they are essential graphic materials for forestry production.
