SCREENING OF THE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITY OF EXTRACTS PREPARED FROM CITRUS PEELS

This study is devoted to the screening of the anti-inflammatory biological activity of extracts obtained from citrus peels, and positive results were achieved. During the research, flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and other biologically active substances present in citrus peels were extracted using an appropriate extraction method, and their anti-inflammatory activity was evaluated under laboratory conditions. The biological activity of the extracts was assessed using modern screening techniques to determine their pharmacological potential. The obtained findings provide a scientific basis for the use of citrus peels as a medicinal plant raw material and contribute to the further development of natural anti-inflammatory agents.
