Level-2 Fast Sea Ice Detection, v0.2
收藏资源简介:
Fast ice extent is derived from sequences of SAR images using sea ice drift estimates. The landfast ice product was evaluated using both manual interpretation and InSAR coherence as independent references. Manual polygons were used to check the mapped landfast ice extent visually, while the InSAR coherence field provided an independent measure of surface stability over the same Sentinel-1 image pair. The comparison showed good agreement between the detected landfast ice and the coherent ice zone, with an Pearson r of 0.686 and IoU of 0.800, over 3,415,261 overlapping pixels. Together, the figures and metrics show that the product captures the main landfast ice extent in the test scene, while also highlighting expected uncertainty near boundaries and in areas of weaker coherence.
