Seismic earth pressures on retaining wall on pile in sand with clay layer underneath (GC03)

A series of dynamic centrifuge experiments on a standard cantilever wall supported on piles were performed to evaluate their seismic performance. The supporting soil was a compacted low plasticity clay and the backfill was a medium dense sand. The main objective is to evaluate the accuracy of current design standards and analysis procedures
