Data supporting the article "Joint optimization of a GRACE radiation pressure model, the accelerometer scale factors, and an empirical magnetic-field-induced accelerometer bias"

This repository contains the supplementary datasets accompanying the article “Joint optimization of a GRACE radiation pressure model, the accelerometer scale factors, and an empirical magnetic-field-induced accelerometer bias” by Jacobs, Hładczuk, van den IJssel, Siemes, and Visser.<br>It includes the following three datasets:<br><strong>Optimized Radiation Pressure Table</strong>This dataset provides force coefficients derived from ray-tracing simulations for GRACE. The definition of the angles and instructions for using the radiation pressure table are documented in the file header.<br><strong>Density and Wind (monthly files per satellite)</strong>This dataset contains atmospheric density and crosswind estimates derived from GRACE accelerometer measurements, covering the full GRACE mission for both GRACE‑A and GRACE‑B.The crosswind is provided as both a magnitude and a vector direction expressed in the North‑East‑Up (NEU) reference frame. Data points affected by thruster firings or identified as invalid are marked as NaN. Months without any valid observations are not included in the dataset.<br><strong>Accelerometer Calibration (monthly files per satellite)</strong>The accelerometer calibration dataset includes scale factors, accelerometer biases, and magnetic‑field‑induced biases in the cross‑track direction. Details on the application of these calibration parameters are provided in the file header.<br>The dataset spans the full GRACE mission for both GRACE‑A and GRACE‑B. Data gaps longer than one hour are indicated by NaN. Months without any valid observations are not included in the dataset.<br>Additional details on the file format are provided in the README.md file.<br>
