Dataset 1: Curated Sample Digital News Coverage of Dr B R Ambedkar (2015–2025)

This dataset contains a curated collection of 203 English-language digital news articles reporting on Dr B. R. Ambedkar between 2015 and 2025. It includes material from mainstream outlets, independent media platforms, and anti-caste publications. The dataset was compiled to support a qualitative textual analysis of Ambedkar’s mediated presence across three domains: ritualised reverence during Ambedkar Jayanti, symbolic violence through statue desecration, and digital activism shaped by anti-caste assertion and diasporic engagement. Each entry is listed in APA format and assigned a unique identifier to facilitate transparency and replicability. The dataset serves as a resource for researchers examining communication, media representation, and the celebritisation of Ambedkar in contemporary digital environments.
