To understand the role of TH target genes in BAT, we developped a murine transgenic model which expressed a tagged-form of the thyroid hormone receptor alpha (TRa1, tagged with GS which is a fusion between protein G and streptavidin) specifically in brown adipocytes. Combined with RNAseq data, it allowed to establish the direct target genes of thyroid hormones (TH) in brown adipocytes Chromatin immunoprecipitation DNA-sequencing (ChIP-seq) for TRa in brown adipocytes of murine mice
