The invention relates to a stuffing screw (1) for conveying a feed material from an inlet area (2) to an outlet area (7)， the areas (2， 7) having different pressure levels， with simultaneous dewatering of the feed material， with a housing (4) and a rotating screw (5)， the rotating screw (5) being detachably made of several parts and the at least two parts (10， 11) of the multi-part rotating screw (5) made of different metallic materials. It is characterized in that at least one part (11) of the multi-part rotating screw (5) consists of a cast iron with a chromium content of less than 1% by mass， the cast iron having a minimum hardness of 260 HB30， a minimum tensile strength R m of 800 N / mm2 and has an elongation at break in the range of 1 to 10%， and the at least one part (11) is arranged in the lightly loaded area of ????the stuffing screw. This improves the runtime of the stuffing screw (1)， with less material used overall.
