资源简介:

Refined and Projected Climate Data for North American Weather Stations This dataset contains refined historical hourly weather data for all 564 Canadian stations from the Canadian Weather Energy and Engineering Datasets (CWEEDS), plus sample refined and extrapolated future weather data (up to 2100) for two major locations: Winnipeg, Canada and Miami, USA. Key Features Historical Data: Cleaned, quality-controlled, and standardized hourly meteorological data (1998–2017) for all 564 CWEEDS stations. Future Projections: Extrapolated hourly data through 2100 under three RCP scenarios (RCP 2.6, RCP 4.5, and RCP 8.5) for Winnipeg and Miami. Format: Ready-to-use CSV files compatible with building energy simulation tools (e.g., EnergyPlus), renewable energy analysis, and climate impact studies. EPW Files: Sample EnergyPlus Weather (.epw) files are included for both locations. Complete Workflow: Full Python source code and comprehensive documentation (Met_Documentation.pdf) are provided to allow users to reproduce the processing or generate data for other locations. Processing MethodologyThe data were generated through a reproducible pipeline including: Data cleaning and unit standardization Bias correction using Quantile Delta Mapping Temporal disaggregation Integration of NA-CORDEX climate projections Conversion to EnergyPlus (EPW) format Content Summary refined_CWEEDS_all_564_stations/ — Refined historical data for all 564 Canadian stations sample_data/ — Detailed examples for Winnipeg and Miami (historical + 3 future scenarios) Sample EPW files for immediate use in EnergyPlus Full documentation and Python scripts Note: This release includes complete refined historical data for all Canadian stations. Projected (future) data is currently provided only for Winnipeg and Miami as samples. Full projected datasets for all stations will be added in future versions. Intended Use Ideal for building performance simulation, renewable energy system sizing, climate resilience studies, and academic research. Authors: Kwasi H. Agyei-Agyemang, Victor A. Ocampo, Eric L.
