Angola (2008): TRaC Study Evaluating Condom Use among Commercial Sex Workers in Cunene Province. Second Round
收藏资源简介:
The primary objective of this 2008 TRaC study was to inform PSI/Angola’s HIV prevention program and provide an evidence-base for decision-making. The 2008 survey is the second HIV TRaC study to collect HIV prevention information from commercial sex workers (CSW). Specifically, this study assesses trends in condom use behaviors and measures changes in the determinants of consistent condom use by monitoring indicators of opportunity, ability, motivation (OAM). Finally, this study will help to e valuate PSI/Angola HIV prevention programs that target CSWs. This study uses a stratified multi-stage cluster design. The sample size was calculated in order to be comparable to the 2005 sample and allow for tracking trends over time. The sample was stratified by city with probability proportional to size. All PSUs identified in each city were included in the sample and an equal proportion of CSW were selected in each site.
