Raw brightfield images (.tif), segmentation ROI files (.roi), and morphological analysis outputs (.jpg) of day 18 organoids selected as reference dataset for complex morphology. Morphometric measurements from the morphology analysis pipeline (.csv file). Reference dataset of complex morphology organoids extracted from Chiaradia, Imaz-Rosshandler et al., 2023. Samples are selected from the morphospace in Chiaradia, Imaz-Rosshandler et al., 2023 upon the supervised scrutiny of organoid morphology from brightfield images. Reference dataset contains organoids from seven different batches and three different conditions: guided SWEFbCO (one organoid), SWEFCbCOs (three organoids), unguided COs (16 organoids). The total number of organoids in the reference dataset is 20.CondCO – cerebral organoids made according to an optimized protocol with a proprietary media but lacking patterning molecules; CondSWEFbCO – guided cerebral organoid treated with SMAD WNT (TGFß and WNT) inhibitors plus treatment with epidermal growth factor (EGF) and fibroblast growth factor (FGF) during neuroepithelial expansion; SWEFCbCO – guided cerebral organoid treated with SMAD WNT (TGFß and WNT) inhibitors plus treatment with epidermal growth factor (EGF), fibroblast growth factor (FGF), and GSK3 Inhibitor/WNT Activator (CHIR-99021) during neuroepithelial expansion.B=batch number
