Indole-3-acetic acid carboxyl methyltransferases

The IAMT phylogenetic tree was generated using amino acid sequences obtained by BlastP searches in the non-redundant protein sequence (nr) and Transcriptome Shotgun Assembly proteins (tsa-nr) databases of NCBI and from the OneKP database of China National Gene Bank. In addition, Core nucleotide (Core-nt), Whole Genome Shotgun contigs (wgs), and Transcriptome Shotgun Assembly (TSA) databases were used to collect additional available sequences using TBlastN searches. In all searches, the IAMT protein from Arabidopsis thaliana was used as the query sequence (NP_200336.1). In total, 704 IAMT sequences were aligned using MAFFT software with default parameters. The best model of amino acid substitution was determined by ModelFinder to be JTT+R8, which was implemented for phylogenetic tree estimation by IQtree using maximum likelihood. Branch support was determined using 1000 ultrafast bootstrap replicates.
