Supplementary Materials to "Short-Term Outcomes After Transtibial Repair of Medial Meniscus Posterior Root Tears: An Exploratory Case Series"

S1: This file is the English translation (Version 1.0, 1 August 2025) of the Physiotherapy (PT) Quantification Questionnaire used in the article “Influence of High BMI, Surgical Delay, and Physiotherapy Volume on Early Outcomes After Transtibial Repair of Medial Meniscus Posterior Root Tears.” The self-report instrument comprises eight items that record (1) PT setting, (2) treatment modalities, (3) number of post-operative months of PT, (4) perceived regularity, (5) monthly frequency, (6) weekly frequency, (7) average session duration, and (8) reason for discontinuation. Its purpose is to quantify both the duration and dose of supervised or home-based physiotherapy undertaken after knee-root-repair surgery so that exposure can be correlated with clinical outcomes. The present version was produced by translation from the original Romanian questionnaire. S2: This file details the method used to calculate total physiotherapy (PT) exposure for patients in the study. It provides the formulas for converting self-reported weekly and monthly PT frequencies into standardized hours, and explains how averaged estimates were derived to increase robustness. S3: This file contains the complete dataset of published studies used for external comparison with the present case series. It lists study characteristics (sample size, age, BMI), clinical outcome scores (IKDC), and imaging parameters (symptom-to-repair interval, pre- and postoperative meniscal extrusion) alongside corresponding p-values from statistical comparisons. Statistically significant findings are marked, and variable availability across studies is indicated. This table underlies the comparative analyses and forest plots in the manuscript.
