Utah Orphaned and Plugged/Abandoned Oil and Gas Wells

A collection of orphaned or plugged and abandoned wells within the state of Utah on state, federal, and private land. Additional data collection has been done to include proximity to sensitive areas (protected lands, water, and census locations). Additionally, a unique variable deemed "Active Orphaning" was included, indicating whether a well was orphaned prior to be capped and rehabilitated.
