Static Inputs for the Integrated Surface Dataset

Static Inputs for the Integrated Surface Dataset are data that were gathered from other datasets and re-formatted into the ISD format. Data are from Australia, Brazil, the Washington National Observatory, Greenland, Mexico, METAR Monthly Airways Extract (MAE), and the NSRDB. In addition, there is a "snapshot" of non-quality-controlled data from 2013 (NOAA Surface Weather Observation data received prior to manual updates and quality control). As of 2016, not all collections have been incorporated into the ISD dataset. However, as time and resources permit, these collections are intended for inclusion.
