Holocene paleoclimate records

Geochemical properties of sediments from the Niger Delta, eastern Gulf of Guinea were determined. The source of deposited organic matter (OM) and sea surface temperatures (SST) over the last 8.5 kyr was indicated based on membrane lipids biomarkers, dialkyl glycerol tetraethers (GDGTs), the elemental and the isotopic determinations.
