This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the dietary inclusion of Hermetia illucens (HI) meal on the growth performance, hepatic morphology, health, and metabolite of largemouth bass. HI meal was used to replace 0% (HI0, control) or 40% (HI40) of fish meal (FM) in the diet. The fish were fed on the feeds for 80 days. At the end of the feeding trial, liver samples were collected from the experimental fish. Total RNA was extracted from the tissue samples and subjected to RNA sequencing analysis to explore the effects of dietary HI on gene expression.
