Carbon and nitrogen cycling in Yedoma permafrost controlled by microbial functional limitations

These data and script accompany the article
"Carbon and nitrogen cycling in Yedoma permafrost controlled by microbial functional limitations" (Monteux, Keuper et al., Nature Geoscience, 2020. doi:10.1038/s41561-020-00662-4) and were used to create the figures and tables found in the article and its Extended Data.

The file MonteuxKeuper_Functional_limitations.R is the main script, and the different data files are described in the first section of that script. To reproduce the figures displayed in the article, download the script, and both zip files into the same folder, then extract the R.zip and Metadata.zip files.

The up-stream bioinformatics pipelines used to obtain the data files, depicted here as HTML files (MonteuxKeuper_16S.html and MonteuxKeuper_ITS.html), are found at https://bitbucket.org/smonteux/functional_limitations/ and the raw sequence files are deposited at the European Nucleotide Archive (Project number PRJEB29467 / ERP111771)
