We discuss the usefulness of the (Heidelberg) Structure-Formation Technique (SFT) for illustrating the cognitive-reflective function of a esthetic communication.Therefore we analyse modifications in readers' knowledgesystems caused by the reception and processing of (positive) literary Utopias.
