ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate performance, serum concentration of calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and bone characteristics, ash, calcium, and phosphorus in tibias of broilers receiving diet with zero, 0.25 or 0.50% of bentonite. No differences were found on performance of poultry, on serum mineral calcium, chloride, iron, magnesium, however phosphorus levels of broilers fed on diets containing 0.5% bentonite was reduced. With respect to tibia, reduction was observed on mineral matter (g and %) and calcium levels with inclusion of 0.50% bentonite, and reduction on phosphorus levels with inclusion of 0.25 or 0.50% of bentonite on diet. We conclude that the inclusion of up to 0.50% of mycotoxin adsorbent bentonite in diet of broiler does not change broiler performance. The inclusion of 0.25% of bentonite in diet of broiler does not change serum mineral concentration and mineral deposition; however, the inclusion of 0.5% decrease serum levels of phosphorus, the content of bone mineral matter, with not effects on bone morphometric characteristics.

摘要 本研究旨在评估日粮添加0、0.25%或0.50%膨润土(bentonite)对肉仔鸡生产性能、血清钙、氯、铁、镁、磷浓度,以及胫骨灰分、钙、磷含量与骨骼特性的影响。结果显示,肉仔鸡的生产性能以及血清钙、氯、铁、镁水平均无显著差异,但饲喂含0.5%膨润土日粮的肉仔鸡血清磷水平有所降低。就胫骨指标而言,日粮添加0.50%膨润土可使胫骨矿物质含量(以克及百分比计)与钙水平下降;而日粮添加0.25%或0.50%膨润土均会导致胫骨磷水平降低。综上,在肉仔鸡日粮中添加最高0.50%的霉菌毒素吸附型膨润土,不会对肉仔鸡的生产性能产生影响。日粮添加0.25%膨润土不会改变肉仔鸡的血清矿物质浓度与骨骼矿物质沉积量;但添加0.5%膨润土则会降低血清磷水平与胫骨矿物质含量,且对骨骼形态学特性无显著影响。
