Most common forms of exploitation of trafficking victims, by gender 2020

A large majority of the human trafficking victims trafficked for forced sexual exploitation were women. In total, more than 90 percent of the detected victims in 2020 were either women or girls. On the other hand, more than half of those trafficked for forced labor were men and two thirds of the victims trafficked for forced criminality were boys.
