World as TLD - A TLD-keyed world reference dataset

world-as-tld is a structured open dataset that uses country-code Top-Level Domains (ccTLDs) as primary keys to aggregate authoritative reference data for 203 countries and territories. Each entry groups identifiers and metadata into semantic blocks: org — country name in English and local language, capital city iso — ISO 3166-1 identifiers: Alpha-2, Alpha-3, and Numeric time — IANA timezone string, UTC offset as numeric value, TZA abbreviations in English and local language, multi-timezone flag geo — geographic coordinates of the capital and continent code infra — phone prefix, vehicle distinguishing sign, IATA and ICAO airport codes currency — ISO 4217 code and symbol refs — Wikidata QID, Wikipedia links (EN and DE), official government homepage flag — emoji flag derived directly from the ISO Alpha-2 code For the approximately 25 countries with multiple timezones, a "capital city fallback" rule is applied consistently. The dataset is designed as a lightweight, human-readable single-file reference for developers, researchers, and open knowledge projects.
