Inventory of pollutant emissions from the charcoal industry in Africa for 2014 and 2030

Inventory of gridded emissions from the charcoal industry in Africa in 2014. This includes production, transport, and use of charcoal. Also included are gridded temporal scaling factors to project emissions to 2030 and to apply seasonal scaling factors of charcoal production for implementation in air quality and atmospheric chemistry transport models.
Data are in NetCDF format at 0.1 degrees x 0.1 degrees horizontal resolution and include emissions mapped to species emitted in the GEOS-Chem chemical transport model.
