资源简介:
With escalating global obesity rates comes an increase in surgical procedures for affected individuals. Central to this is the anesthetic sevoflurane, whose implications on the central nervous system (CNS) have been questioned, especially concerning cognitive dysfunction post-surgery. Particularly, this concern is heightened in obese patients who are more prone to conditions like diabetes. Amidst this backdrop, our attention turns to adiponectin, a molecule from adipocytes known for its neuroprotective qualities. Decreased adiponectin levels have been linked to cognitive dysfunction models, including those tied to obesity. This study explores the role of adiponectin in determining the vulnerability of obese individuals to cognitive impairments after sevoflurane exposure. This dataset contains the raw data used in the Thesis: ADIPONECTIN DEFICIENCY EXAGGERATES CORTICAL AND HIPPOCAMPAL NEUROINFLAMMATION FOLLOWING SEVOFLURANE EXPOSURE.
