<i>ST4</i><b>:</b> Number of differentially expressed genes for various contrasts

Human lung adenocarcinoma cells (A549) and human monocytic cells (THP-1) were infected with H3N23 influenza virus A virus. Transcriptome analysis were performed by next generation RNA sequencing of three replicates each for infected A549 cells at 4, 8 and 24h p.i. and infected THP-1 cells at 4, 8, 12 and 24h p.i., and corresponding set of non-infected controls. Using DESeq2 (version 2.7.9a, (45)) with thresholds log2=1 for log-fold change and adjusted p-value of &gt; 0.05, we identified many differentially expressed genes (DEGs) for various contrasts.
