Transcriptome sequencing of Penicillium roqueforti responding to sorbic acid

We aimed to identify the genes controlling the sorbic acid resistance in Penicillium roqueforti. Hence, a sorbic acid resistant (DTO006G7) and sensitive (DTO377G3) strain of Penicillium roqueforti were subjected to sorbic acid and control conditions to compare the changes in their respective transcriptomes.
