THE INFLUENCE OF EASTERN HERITAGE AND EUROPEAN VOCAL SCHOOLS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF UZBEK VOCAL ART

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the role of vocal art in the spiritual life of society and its significance in shaping the aesthetic taste of the younger generation. It examines Eastern vocal traditions, particularly the close connection between maqom art and Sufi philosophy, as well as the stages of formation and development of European vocal schools, especially the Italian vocal school, through a comparative approach. In addition, the historical roots of Uzbek vocal art, the scientific and practical heritage of renowned scholars and performers, and current issues in modern vocal education are analyzed. The article is intended for music teachers, researchers, and specialists in the field of art.
