Predicted and observed event yields in the validation regions where the $n_{\mathrm{track}}$ and $m_{\mathrm{DV}}$ requirements for signal-like DVs are dropped or inverted. The uncertainties include the statistical and systematic uncertainties in the transfer factors (TFs), in addition to statistical uncertainties reflecting the finite event yields in the regions to which the TFs are applied. The region with a far DV failing to meet the $m_{\mathrm{DV}} \geq 20\,\text{GeV}$ requirement shows a discrepancy between data and prediction, which is accounted for by applying a non-closure uncertainty to the heavy-flavour background in $\text{SR}_{\mathrm{far}}$.
