Adipocyte Morphology Analysis

These files contains adipocyte morphology data generated from Particles8 analysis of digital images of breast tissue samples. The data is organized into multiple files reflecting the data used to generate figures for a research paper. All measurements are provided in micrometers (µm) and pixels. The morphological parameters include perimeter, area, concavity, aspect ratio, feret diameter, convex area, and breadth, each recorded separately for adipocytes located close to and distant from cancer cells and breast eptihelial cells. The data is organised based on clinical and pathological variables: tissue origin (cancer or normal breast tissue), menopausal status (premenopausal or postmenopausal, Body Mass Index (BMI), and mammographic density (MD)), tumour size, grade, and subtype (ER+ and TNBC), as well as by adipocyte size (small vs. large) in relation to survival outcomes.Updated files have been added to include the correct conversion from pixels to microns for area and concavity.
