Obtained the gene expression data of peripheral blood provided by patients with MDD and normal volunteers from the GEO database, and evaluated the inflammation scores in each sample via single sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) algorithm. Then, WGCNA was conducted to analyze the gene modules associated with inflammation score and the MDD state.
